The Body Shop Shower Gels

Summer is also no doubt upon us here in the Philippines. One of the ways I like to beat the heat is taking a bath with fresh smelling shower gels. The heat tends to make you all sweaty and sticky which is why I really like how shower gels feel lighter on the skin than soaps. Light, fruity scents are also perfect during summer because they're so refreshing! My current favorites are The Body Shop shower gels in Olive and Sweet Lemon. 

The Body Shop Olive Shower Gel

There are so many scents of The Body Shop shower gels to choose from, and this was one of my top favorites. It smells so good that when I was in the store, and I just couldn't stop smelling it. I seriously didn't want to get my nose away from it! I think the best way I can describe it is if you were to take the tart taste of olives, and translate that to a scent, that's how it smells like, in a good way. It has a very fresh, crisp, clean scent. It's also made with olive oil which I heard is really good for the skin.

As the name suggests, this shower gel basically smells like a sweet lemon. Citrus scents are really great for the summer, and I find this very refreshing because it reminds me of an icy cold lemonade on a hot summer day. I personally don't like sweet scents and I like how this one is not too sweet. It smells so good I would gulp it down if I could!

I really love The Body Shop shower gels because they smell so good, and they're so refreshing! I also find them to be quite nourishing and hydrating on my skin. My skin just feels so soft and smooth after I take a bath!
