Ally's All Day Breakfast

All day breakfast places are some of my favorites when it comes to restaurants because who wouldn't want breakfast food any time of the day? I'm always on the hunt for some good ones, and one day, my boyfriend Martin and I were searching for one in the Maginhawa area, and discovered Ally's All Day Breakfast Place.

Early Bird Breakfast Club

Most people, including myself, despise the thought of waking up early. I mean, who wouldn't want to sleep in especially when were all tired from work or school. However, if there's one thing that can get me out of bed, it's the thought of a delicious, hearty breakfast.

Breakfast at Antonio's

When it comes to birthday celebrations, my family prefers to have a simple and intimate family meal rather than throw a big party. So when my Dad recently celebrated his birthday, we decided to head up to Tagaytay for a much needed change in scenery and a lovely brunch at Breakfast at Antonio's.

One Huge Breakfast

Whoever came up with this dish must have had the saying "Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper" in mind because this is a breakfast that's definitely fit for a king. But we'll get to that later.

My friends and I were at Home Depot in Ortigas last night and as we were walking around in the rain, trying to find a place to eat at, we stumbled upon Little Pantry Cafe that was still on its soft opening. Since it was new to all of us, we decided to try it out. 

The simple but elegant interior design gives you the feeling that it's as if you're simply entering a friend's beautiful house for dinner and not a restaurant. The neutral and pastel colors used compliment the brightness of the space.

Being a cafe lover, one of the things that immediately got my attention was this chalkboard wall. It definitely adds a touch of playfulness and color to the place. I personally think that every cafe should have a chalkboard menu. 

Having benches as seating can be uncomfortable but these padded backrests against the wall not only provide comfort but also serve as wall decor.

Aside from their ala carte menu, they also have an eat all you can Mongolian Bowl section where you can pick the components of your rice bowl, and they'll cook it for you. 

 When we asked the waiter for their best sellers, he was very enthusiastic about One Huge Breakfast in their all day breakfast menu. He was so convincing that all five of us ended up ordering the same dish. He was even drawing in the air how big the plate was, and he was not kidding. This plate was literally bigger than our heads and was loaded with everything you could ever want for breakfast. Bacon, ham, hash, tomato, sausages, pork and beans and two eggs on top of toasts -- this was literally one huge breakfast! And this plate doesn't only get a thumbs up for quantity but also for quality. Even though the serving was much more that what I usually consume, I was able to finish my plate. 

This cafe might be called Little Pantry Cafe but there's definitely nothing little about their food.
